Carole Boshears

Member, Board of Directors

Carole Boshears was an elementary educator and former Superintendent of the Kneeland School District. She served as Secretary of the Redwood Coast Village Board of Trustees.

Patti De La O

Vice President, Board of Directors

Patti De La O is a project manager in the environmental field. She is a volunteer for numerous Humboldt County community organizations. Her experience caring for her elderly parents has spawned a love for seniors and a desire to help them live with dignity and grace.

Bill Hunter

Member, Board of Directors

Bill Hunter, MD is a primary care physician certified in geriatric medicine. He has practiced in Humboldt County since 1978, with a longstanding focus on the care of older adults, and currently works with Hospice of Humboldt.

Jack Irvine

Treasurer, Board of Directors

Jack Irvine is a retired physician who practiced in Humboldt County, and was the first Medical Director of Redwood Cost PACE.

Mary Meengs

Secretary, Board of Directors

Mary Meengs is a physician who has been involved in numerous Humboldt County organizations including Humboldt County Public Health, the Breast & GYN Health Project, Making Headway Center, and Redwood Coast PACE.

Jerome Simone

Jerome Simone is the former CEO of United Indian Health Services. He has more than 60 years of experience in the healthcare field including hospitals, clinics, public health, volunteer fire departments as an EMT, and the U.S. Navy Medical Corps.

Laura Ann Strohm

Laura Ann Strohm holds PhD and Masters' degrees from Tufts University in Boston, and most recently worked at the University of Oregon business school's sustainability center.
